Oblivious

It's mesmerizing,
How she's walking off a plank,
With her eyes wide open;
Sentencing herself to her own grave.
And it's remarkable;
That she's oblivious to the abuse that she inflicts upon herself.
But I suppose you wouldn't recognize it either,
Because not all abuse leaves bruises and physical scars.
