Can you see it in her eyes?
The fear; the uncertainty.
It's like she's going blind.
Because a crossroad looks just like a dead end,
And every obstacle is a mountain
And there's just too many of them;
Too many mountains,
And she doesn't have it in her,
Time's running out.
The curtains are closing on the act,
And she can't even remember her first line.
She's stuck in a trance
And she's getting dizzy now;
Nothing feels quite right.
Everything's spinning,
It's all out of control,
But it never stops,
Because the sun can't expect to rise
By glaring at the moon.
The fear; the uncertainty.
It's like she's going blind.
Because a crossroad looks just like a dead end,
And every obstacle is a mountain
And there's just too many of them;
Too many mountains,
And she doesn't have it in her,
Time's running out.
The curtains are closing on the act,
And she can't even remember her first line.
She's stuck in a trance
And she's getting dizzy now;
Nothing feels quite right.
Everything's spinning,
It's all out of control,
But it never stops,
Because the sun can't expect to rise
By glaring at the moon.
